Hundreds of people at Apple are said to be secretly working on designing and development of this amazing people carrier, which has also been given a rumored nickname, Titan.

The Apple Watch is still on the verge of enjoying the attention and valuable opinions of the users, and here is again a bash from Apple, the iCar!! This rumored car is believed to be launched against its rivals, Google and Tesla. The probable iCar is believed to have the “self-driven functionality”. Hundreds of people at Apple are said to be secretly working on designing and development of this amazing people carrier, which has also been given a rumored nickname, Titan.

Hundreds of people at Apple are said to be secretly working on a design for an electric people-carrier which has been given the code name “Titan”. So far, the technology firm has declined to comment on the project, but sources close to the company told the Wall Street Journal that it wanted to revolutionize electric cars in the same way that the iPhone shook up the smartphone market. Almost a year ago, this project was called off by Tim Cook, the chief executive officer of Apple. This project is now assigned to Steve Zadesky who is the vice president of product design, who has earlier led the teams of iPhone and iPod. He created a team of 1000 people to work on Titan.

The rival firm Google has worked for years on the similar project of launching a driverless electric automobile, there is certainly an obvious expectation with Apple that it will not be going via this route with iCar aka Titan. Apple has links with a few car industries, like Volvo, Daimler and Volkswagen through CarPlay, its dashboard touch screen system.

The rumor is progressively becoming the hot topic in the technology industry and why not?? After all, three giants are the part of this pursuit, Apple, Google and Tesla. Being a buzzword now, there are various eminent platforms who have their own unique opinions regarding this prodigious supposed truth. As per The Wall Street Journal, the self-driven functionality of the iCar is not going to take place now, on the other hand the Reuters disagree with this point. This was concluded with the opinion of the verge that neither of the two are wrong as the self-driven functionality will be introduced sometime later by Apple as their future releases.

However, these conversations, chit chats, and gossips can only be given a base when Apple will also start working on it with full swing, and will have appropriate and solid plans for version one and the future versions. Secondly, Apple should also be ready to face a tough competition with Tesla and Google, who are already there in this market for quite some time now. Being a newbie for now in this market, a lot of hurdles are certainly waiting for Apple.

The project of self-driving cars has been a long working part of Google now almost since 2010. They have already made various changes in the project, and still another 5 years are needed to completely churn out the project into a fully-functional reality, which also includes the clearance from the authority of road safety. On the other hand, one of the supreme vehicle manufacturing company Tesla is working on the model X of Tesla, which it claims will be a self-driven car. This car will be available sometime in the year 2016.

Apple is yet to join the league of the electric car market where Tesla is ready to launch itself and Google will also launch it after its issues get solved. Apple is expected to launch its proposed vehicle after the dusk of this decade, maybe. This basically brings us to a conclusion that it will be very difficult for this privileged and exclusive giant to beat the existing rulers, but Apple is something that is known for thinking out-of-the-box, so may be a thought much ahead of this curve from Apple is worth waiting.
