The main objective of this application is to provide search functionality for the real estate properties based in Australia. Searching is based on the two options buy or rent. It will list all the properties according to the option selected by the user, it is then refined by the more search and sort options like min/max price (asc/desc), min/max bedrooms, min/max bathrooms, status-leased-sold- rent etc. The user can save the particular listing generated by his specific criteria of searching and can also shortlist them for the future reference. He can view the full description (including price, location and other details) of the properties with all the images available. The application also enriched by the email functionality and direct call from the application to the owner. The user can email to the friend directly from the application and can send the details regarding the wished properties; the company can directly contact the user also by the option available in the application “contact me”.

Client Requirement:

The main requirement of the application is to develop an i-App for promoting the properties based in Sydney (Australia). The application should be enriched by the search functionality with lots of refined search options for the ease of use for the users in searching the properties. The client have 21 offices and would need all of their available stock for both sales and lettings to be accesses. One of the requirements is to integrate Google Map so that it can easily locate the position of the property in the region. Refined search functionality is another requirement (filtered search criteria).

Challenges:

The application was totally built for the real estate property listing purpose so that user can search the property and can see the details with full description. So the challenge is to implement the refined search functionality in the application. Data base management is another important task.

Technologies Used:
Objective C Objective-C is a powerful, object-oriented language with a dynamic class system that is incredibly flexible and fast. It powers the Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks, providing high-level APIs.
X code IDE X code is as a complete, full-featured IDE built around a smooth workflow that integrates the editing of source code.
Interface Builder It is the graphical editor for designing i-phone or Mac application’s graphical user interface.
Cocoa Touch (Framework) It is an API for building software programs to run on the i-phone, i-pod touch and i-pad from Apple inc. Cocoa touch provides an abstraction layer of ios, the operating system for the i-phone, i-pod touch, and i-pad. Cocoa touch is based on the Mac operating system X Cocoa API toolset and like it, is primarily written in the objective-C language.
