I’m a resource manager for a Christian production company.

Opportunity/Challenge

What challenge were you trying to address with Konstant Infosolutions?

We received a grant to build a mobile app. We wanted to welcome people to our ministries.

Solution

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we met with Konstant to provide them with a layout. We also discussed the need to mirror the platform with our WordPress page. Their team then developed the app for Android and iOS from scratch, basing the platform on our collateral. The app functions as an entry point into our organization and shows people to our YouTube page, podcast, and store. It also allows us to send notifications to people. It’s another tool for people to learn about who we are and have a good interface with us.

What was the team composition?

I worked with one person from Konstant.

How did you come to work with Konstant Infosolutions?

My supervisor found Konstant and decided to bring them on board because their team was cost-efficient. They also said that we could achieve our goals with the app.

How much have you invested with them?

The project cost between $20,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this project around March 2018, and the app finally launched in June 2020.

Results & Feedback

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have over 1,700 users. The platform has increased traffic, especially towards donations and our store. We’ve seen more book orders and more traffic towards our YouTube videos. We’re starting to see an impact.

How did Konstant Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We used a couple of different tools to collaborate and keep the project on track. The project took a couple of years because Apple and Android made updates that required us to fix the platform. There were also a couple of holidays that put the project behind because we had to wait a week or two for results. Overall, their team was thorough. However, there were a few times when they were caught off guard. I wish that they were a little ahead of changes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Konstant’s detail-oriented and always followed up with us. If we requested a fix or addition, they would be on it. Their team was detailed and thorough.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more on top of iOS and Android changes because that’s what we required.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be available for evening phone calls and meet their schedule. If you only plan to work according to your schedule, you might not make a lot of progress.
