Why Apple rejects some apps in their stores has remained a kind of mystery before now. Why some apps get accepted by Apple stores while others get rejected is one question that has been begging for answers for a while. However, Apple has come out to shade some lights on the criteria they use in reviewing all apps for their app stores.<\/p>\n

As an App developer, there are some things you must know before embarking on app development that are going to be submitted on App store. It is important you understand what features Apple look out for when reviewing new Apps to increase the chances of your App being accepted. Some of the areas you need to pay attention to include the design, content and technical criteria used by Apple for determining the Acceptability of any new App for their App stores.<\/p>\n

Apple stores now have over 1.2 million Apps in their store, some of these Apps have pretty low quality titles, yet they manage to scale through the review process. Apple\u2019s thoroughness in the review of new Apps has not in any way reduced, which is why App developers have been advised to pay special attention to the following facts in their Apps before submitting to Apple for review.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/strong> If there are features that require users to sign into your App, you are expected to provide a very valid demo account details like username and password.
\n\u2022<\/strong> If there are any special configurations to be set, make sure all the specifics are included in your app details. Without this, you may have your app rejected on App store.
\n\u2022<\/strong> If any feature require an environment that cannot be easily replicated, or calls for the use of some very specific hardware, make sure you are ready to make the hardware or demo video available.
\n\u2022<\/strong> Make sure there no erroneous descriptions that can mislead your App users no matter where they may be in the world.
\n\u2022<\/strong> Your App must not fail to perform the tasks you advertised it can perform. Never give users the impression that your App can do what it is incapable of doing. Doing so, your app will not be accepted, no matter how good it is.
