Released back in 2009 with a modern approach to simplify data management for developers and enterprises, MongoDB marked its presence in the technology domain with its simple and easy-to-implement capabilities.<\/p>\n

Now, after a series of updates, it\u2019s ready to catch the attention once again with its new MongoDB 3.4 release. More enterprise-level robustness has been drafted to the model while capabilities like data management, consistency and placement remain on top.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s more flexible, mature and dynamic, allowing developers to embed more use cases to its deployment. Data storage, management and placement are as easy as a pie, which no other NoSQL database offers. It\u2019s important for a multinational firm to place data within their allocated boundaries and MongoDB does the same with ease.<\/p>\n

The new 3.4 version is powered with multimodel capabilities, cross-region scaling, improved GUI and an extended version of its BI connector. It now aids in quick visualizing and reporting, which will prove beneficial for companies.<\/p>\n

The latest release adds new capabilities for simplified and reliable deployment, which will make life easier for developers. New functionalities like graph analytics and faceted search operators have been included with powerful methodologies. This will allow organizations to deliver data to users in more efficient and efficacious manner. Since the use cases included are native to the database, there won\u2019t be an issue in integrating the same to the existing system.<\/p>\n

The faceted features of search operator have been optimized finely to produce desired results. Not like earlier, where you must write the entire search logic externally and wait until the database process the same query for you. The all-new SQL interface is good enough for data scientists in exploring desired datasets and insights from modern applications using BI tools.<\/p>\n

Cross-region scaling has been enhanced with the help of Zones that possess the capability of elastic database partitioning. Zones allow overcoming the challenge of abiding data sovereignty laws for local data centers and can be integrated effectively into MongoDB\u2019s management tools.<\/p>\n

The elasticity has been improved by faster auto-balancing of data across distributed clusters. Developers can now feel more powerful in deploying tasks as there won\u2019t be any app downtime. They can quickly and easily scale data as per the requirement.<\/p>\n

Ops Manager is upgraded for simplifying MongoDB administration and extended support for custom Database-as-a-service. It now enables teams to create server pools to serve DBaaS to internal teams.<\/p>\n
