Reminder App: Easiest Way to Hash out Your Precious Memories

We connected with a French client – to develop an app to trap human mindsight. It wasn’t AI but much like that. It doesn’t involve looking inside the brain to find out what’s going on in there. But it lets you pay close attention to the pictures in your head, the thoughts in your mind, the emotions you experience and even the feelings in your body.

Functionality: How Reminder App works?

The Reminder App concept reconciles the encoding process of the brain. This app restores the idea for later use. This process makes it recoverable when we intend to. Reminder App utilizes certain permutations and combinations to accomplish this. This app is available on iOS and Android platforms. It helps to quickly save the related images, videos in the form of posts, which can be associated with relevant keywords (i.e. hashtags). As we recall an event or an idea, the app triggers a keyword or hashtag used to look for the relevant post.

Target Audience: Who will use it?

Users can use this application to create a post with hashtags. They may apply filters from the saved hashtags to pull the associated, relevant posts. Super Admin can manage the users and posts.

Pre-requisites: What users need to know before using Reminder App?

Monetization: Reminder App Business Model

Reminder App Subscriber

To enable a premium subscription, a user needs to pay $1.99/month. The subscription features unlimited memory posts and unlimited videos, audio, document attachments, a maximum of 100/MB per post.

Reminder App Basic User

A basic user has access to create 300 free memory posts. They have unrestricted access to post views and edits.

Users can add filters and hashtags to their posts like adventure, attraction, attention, action etc.

Reminder app also earns via in-app purchases.

Technology Stack: Which technologies were involved?

The Development Journey: How were the various stages in SDLC handled throughout the project?

The team discussed the project requirements and created the designs according to the design questionnaire. Wireframes cover the entire functionality of the project. The development was based on the approved designs.

The client provided all the French translations of the applications static content field label, menu names etc.

Role of Project Managers/Technology Leads

Once we received the business approval, developed the plan and built the team, the project manager and the technology leads were involved in keeping the project on track. They organized the team members, managed timelines, and ensured work completion according to the original plan. The project manager interacted and reported directly to the client.

The project manager was involved in defining responsibilities for everyone on the team. They monitored the team while later created the project plan + created workflow diagrams + got the wireframes approved from the client + estimated the budget + gathered the resources + anticipated any risks and challenges to the deployment. Also, the entire team presided over the periodic kick off meetings.

The project manager was involved in creating tasks and organizing workflows for every team member involved in the process. They briefed them on the tasks, monitored the quality of work, communication with clients, and managed the budget.

We used Agile programming methodology; Kanban board and Gantt charts were used to check the progress of the deliverables.
The project manager was involved in analyzing the project performance, analyzing the team’s performance, documenting project closure and conducting post implementation reviews towards the project deployment phases. They also accounted for the used and un-used budget.
