New is Always Better: Android N

Though Google has not yet disclosed the name but to give contentment to the users, Google declared: “Developer Preview” of Android N with innovative traits.

Here are the top features listed by us, that would be the mighty strokes of Android N.

Multi-window function – Android N introduces a multitasking feature for your smartphone. In this feature, a user can work on two apps simultaneously. Though Samsung and LG users already experienced this inbuilt multitasking mode, it is entirely a new experience for the whole Android community.

Revert through notifications – From now onwards, users can answer to messages or emails within the notifications which arrives at the top of the screen. Google is trying to make it easier for Android users to reply back and featuring it not only for the messaging app, but for Hangouts, WhatsApp and emails as well.

Notifications grouped together – This particular feature eliminates the hurdle of choosing one alert from the same app among various notifications. In Android N, notifications will be grouped together if they are from the same app.

Advanced doze mode – Doze mode is already blended with Marshmallow. While enabling this feature, the smartphone goes into a deep standby mode to save the battery juice for a longer run. We titled the article “New is always better” because Google is taking a notch higher with the Android N, in which doze mode has been improved from the previous version. It will not only work when the device is undisturbed for a long time, but also whenever the light of devices is turned off — this advanced mode will get active and give some extra dose to the battery of your phone.

Compatible with Java 8 – It’s like the cherry on the cake for Android developers, as Android N applications will support Java 8. Developers can build incredible Android apps by embracing Java 8 features for this new version.

The quick setting is much more instantaneous – Quick setting menu comes into view at the top of notification shade is getting much faster because toggles of Wi-Fi, Flight Mode, Bluetooth are just a swipe away from your fingers. Best upgrade is that all the buttons are small and nonobstructive as when you swipe downwards, it will leave room for notifications to flourish. There’re more options in quick settings under notification shade like Hotspot, Flashlight and Night Mode can get active by swiping another arrow.

Improved setting app – If a user wants to jump to other menu options in setting app, then this upgrade come with a new hamburger menu at the top left corner of your screen to go and operate other menu choices. In this update, new data saver option is there in setting app,  which reduces the data consumption over the apps that are running in the background of your operating system.

Google surprised us so early as it wanted to prepare developers for the big upgrade of its mobile OS – Android. We understand that announcement of the Android N Beta Program is for the early testing of applications and its feedback. You need to test your developed app according to the preview of the Android N SDK; you can configure how your app would work on this new version. Our Android developers started working on the Android N preview version and integrating all the updates into mobile applications. They would like to taste the perks of Android N and very much eager to develop an app on Android N after the official release of this version.
