Apple iPhone 8 is set to launch in the September of this year. Here’s the leaks for latest specs, new features and the design.

On their 10th anniversary, the smartphone behemoth Apple Inc. is going to celebrate a gala event with the launch of iPhone 8, this September- in Fall 2017. As expressed by the Apple experts in an event lately, iPhone 8 will be the most exclusive, high-end device ever launched by the company in the segment of smart devices.

Similar to Galaxy S8 Edge, iPhone 8 will be equipped with OLED display replacing the LCD panels for brighter, more powerful views. It has been rumored that Apple has stolen the concept from Samsung’s edgeless display, while iPhone users and enthusiasts are positive as they confirmed the device to be using a slightly different software than Samsung’s Infinity display.

Design

Like always, Apple is sure to make some ambitious design changes- one of which is the elimination of those chunky bezels in the previous iPhones. The 5.8-inch display will have a virtual home button and 3-d scanning for facial recognition.

In addition to this, this modern-day device will bring some signification on the rear side of the handset. Breaking its legacy of having horizontal dual camera, designers have inclined the rear camera set to a 90-degree angle, converting it into a vertical alignment. This direction change is to boost the Virtual and Augmented Reality concepts in iPhone apps as the horizontally aligned cameras in landscape orientation are far more effective than the vertically aligned (as in other iPhones). This device is said to come with advanced AR capabilities.

The rear-facing laser system will deliver better performance in AR apps and provide a more accurate auto focus for capturing photos and videos.

An-all screen phone, Apple’s new creation will not have any switch on the USB Type-C, neither the headphone jack will be visible.

Specs and latest news

Showing off a remarkable, shining all-glass body, this most-talked smartphone will have a wireless charging port and an Apple A11 chip embedded. Following its tradition of launching a new device with an upgraded OS version, Apple’s 8th masterpiece will work on the next iteration of its mobile operating system, i.e. iOS 11. The screen will possibly show iOS 11 screen-recording feature that will be announced with the release of next iOS version.

As your iPhone 8 is modeled to work on iOS 11, you’ll notice that a customizable control center and a completely changed Notification center. It’ll be like a Cover Sheet now, which will be similar to the lock screen.

To view the latest notifications, users will have to swipe down from top of the screen, along with an additional swipe up to see older notifications touching on the section ‘Earlier Today.’ Hold your imagination, there will definitely be some bigger changes when the release of iOS 11 will be broadcast on the 10th anniversary (as anticipated).

Much hasn’t been revealed about the specifications of iPhone 8 yet. Though the storage memory and RAM will be similar to iPhone 7 and 7S.

In one of the chassis leaks on the internet, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor is suggested to be again on the rear of the device, just below the Apple logo. The flagship iPhone this year will be complementing its looks with a radical new selfie camera and an elongated power button for the first time.

Launch Date

While the date of launch is expected to be on Apple’s 10th anniversary in the end of September- the beginning of Fall, we are expecting iPhone 8 out for sale on online and offline stores by October. Around 2 million handsets will be available at the outset, as reported by Apple’s Technical Officer.

Price

As iPhone 8 is claimed to be the most elegant of all, it has to be pricey. It’s going to cost you a minimum of $700 and beyond for the more feature-rich iPhone 8S and its variants depending on the storage- 16GB, 32 GB, 64 GB.
