Android o beta version now available to use....................................................................

The highly-awaited Android O is now out as Beta to be used by all of us. And that is just by pointing your browser over to android.com/beta. With this the company is coming up with the opportunity to deliver latest foremost features to be used and tested by users – making the value count for the new OS release which is pending shortly.

Talking of the features – Notifications are going to see a next level of refinement. The new app icons in Android O would be having little circles indicating a new update waiting to be seen by you. Just like you have it in iPhone, long-pressing the icon would allow you to see a preview popup, so you don’t have to leave your screen unreasonably.

Another major update you will see with Android O is the contextual autofill option, which will smartly read and predict what you are trying to fill and this will show you more magically accurate results than ever. One more detail that you would love to work with is Smart Text Selection, which will highlight the whole segment referring to names, addresses and other shared details on the web – allowing you to avoid awkward highlighting scenes that used to be there since ever.

As announced, Picture in Picture feature will allow you to open an app while working on another app. Say, you can open YouTube video or a Duo chat while simultaneously working on Gmail. A great utility for sure!

Other than these, the Android O Beta version will reveal some nips, tucks and touches that have been added to the new OS to enhance user experience (without getting too overt and obvious). The new updated version of Android would also bring some advantage towards the hardware front and it should be essentially more about increasing the boot times.

On the developer front, the new OS is going to reveal something really useful. As per the information, with this update, developers will be able to spot issues with apps that can harm phone security and battery life and more such things.

Well, with this it seems that we are definitely going to enjoy our meetup sessions with the new O(reo) *cough*. However, as far as Google’s claim of making Android more modular in approach and references with this launch is concerned, it still seems a bit implausible to me. But, I hope this comes true and we get some chance to gain that extra edge using Android with richer and better interface and communication.
