Monthly Activity of April 2021: Ripples of Fun

We are back with a series that revolves around interesting stuff ‘Monthly Activities'; picking up titbits voraciously, let's begin!

A small amount of stress often optimizes our performance and keeps us focused. The best detour is to engage in some recreational activities and have some time out with our counterparts – colleagues – friends – extended family. Of course, taking a good sleep, imposing an electronic lockdown, eating a balanced diet and discussing things with elders relieve us from an overwhelming feeling of not performing well or not accomplishing it on time.

But as soon as we remove the warning signs, the problems sort out themselves. Konstant encourages everyone on board to relieve their seats for this one hour and delineate that time and that day to be the best day of their life.

Games

1. Aerial Ace

Materials: We used paper airplanes and a hoop.

Rules: Throw the paper airplane as far as possible through a hoop, improve your best score and unlock gifts. We chose four teams with three players: “A” and “B” and “C” each. Player “A” held the cardboard loop; Player “B” prepared the paper airplane; Player “C” threw the paper plane as far as possible through the loop.

2. Popping Balloons

Materials: We used lots of balloons.

Rules: Three teams with six members each participated in the balloon popping activity. Team 1 grabbed some balloons. Their members “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E” and “F” stood in a queue. HR whistled. All participants blew their balloons. They then came forward towards the stage turn-wise. They had to sit on their balloon and deflate the balloon. Go back and repeat. They had to deflate maximum balloons in 30 seconds. It was followed by Team 2 and 3. The team that accomplished more in the given time won.

Lucky Draw Winners

As the event glowed with friendliness, smiles and laughter, we headed towards the lucky draw – turning the monthly roulette wheel of fortune. It was for the jury to consider; everyone present was into drawing a bead on; the winners were:

  1. Niranjan Saini
  2. Rohit Sharma

Life’s Good, You Should Get One

Management is not always good about helping people navigate a conflict to resolve. They don’t want to get involved. They expect employees to figure it out or that it’ll blow over. It’s not that managers don’t want to be helpful. They often don’t know how to help. We want you to understand that pieces of advice to combat workplace hostility often don’t work; help managers, co-workers, family, and friends move beyond “canned advice” and develop more appropriate alternatives to addressing stress.

Our Insight

Find your way towards the cafeteria and let yourself lose for a few minutes. It is the place to express your very normal emotions. It will also allow you to look beyond the comfort of what you do well and try something that has the potential of accomplishing.

Be hooked to this space to know more in the series about how we spend our monthly activities. For the sake of emphasis, never stop having fun!
