Earlier this month, Apple unveils new features and services for the latest iOS 9.3 beta 3. Let’s get an early look at what sought-after developments we will enjoy in the next iOS 9.3.

While iOS 9 update was available for iPhone and iPad users in September 2015, Apple has cast numerous point updates since then, including iOS 9.1 and 9.2. Aiming to provide a better user experience, the iPhone company has recently released its third major operating system update- iOS 9.3, which will be soon available for download on your iPhones and iPads. However, now the new iOS 9.3 beta 3 is available for registered developers and testers.

This latest version holds out high hopes for everyday users and iOS technical experts. There are advancements and revisions to a wide range of existing apps and introduction to exceptionally convenient new additions that may give you a good night sleep and even facilitate better education in schools and colleges.

If you’re excited to know what all Apple has added this time, we’re here to list down a few highlights as our developers downloaded the beta 3 version.

Night Shift Mode – Sunset to Sunrise

One of the most special attractions that users have been longing for quite some time is its automatic changeover from bright daylight to dimmer and warmer edge of the spectrum. Technologists and healthcare specialists have found that exposure to radiant blue light during the evening hours can harm our everyday eye swings. This ‘night shift’ feature will automatically shift your phone display colors to pastel and muted, relieving your eyes from light strains. It uses the device’s clock and geographic location to identify the sunset time in your present location. More interestingly, the device returns to its previous and regular color settings when it is sunrise.

So, pleasant dreams and a good night sleep are on your way with iOS 9.3 on your devices.

Keep your Notes protected

The native Notes app in your phone will now give you more privacy and protection. In iOS 9.3, Notes is introduced with the features of lock and Touch ID password. Making notes of your credit card details, bank account details, family details, website login credentials, health and medications, you can secure your personal, financial, medical and office information through a password or Apple Touch ID fingerprint. It will also arrange (sort) your files according to date created, date modified and alphabetically

Tailoring your News Articles

For a more personalized user experience, you can now choose to tailor your News articles and topics with For You feature. The articles can be customized as per your interests. For You will recommend you the trending topics and top stories to read and will also help you pick new Favorites. If an article or news story consists of a video, it will play directly from the feed. Checking updates will be relatively quicker and faster compared to iOS 9.2.

Improved CarPlay Music Experience and New Places to Go

Handpicked from a team of music experts, the songs, albums and playlists on Apple’s Music App will give you a better and meaningful experience while you’re driving or traveling. The selections will be based on your preferences, and you can find them appear right on your screen. Another feature New will help you find new music and also provides you a list of new places, restaurants, parks, gas stations, coffee shops, shopping complex opened nearby. It will also explore and sort the existing places and shows the best to stop by while you are on your daily travel or a holiday trip.

Building Better, Digital Classrooms

Integrating technology with education, iOS 9.3 comes up with a brand new classroom teaching app that can well organize lectures and sessions delivered or yet to be taught. It’s easy on tracking the progress of individual students, helping teachers to stay updated with their performance in all classes. Furthermore, it allows sharing of iPads among students as they can log in any of the devices available in the classroom with their Apple Ids and start working on their personal assignments and projects, where they left. It will be like “The devices may be shared, but the experience is personal.”

The new Apple School Manager allows admins to access single portal and perform multiple tasks including creating Apple Ids, purchasing apps and others.

Health Dashboard Upgrades

The Health App on your iPhone will improve with a slider menu on the categories of Weight, Workouts and Sleep that unleashes excellent apps to add to your dashboard. Users can well synchronize this app with their Apple Watch and can set health goals and exercise routine from both phone and watch. All your health metrics can be seen at one place, and you can share your health details with third party apps.

Moving further, you will see development in 3D shortcuts that will allow swift switching between Switch Off/On, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and battery settings. The iOS 9.3 beta also includes the feature of Verizon Wi-Fi calling for better calls even when the coverage is erratic.

The release date for user download is yet to come; it is possibly expected to be around Spring this year at an event when the company will announce its iPhone 6c and a new Apple Watch.
