Setting up a home office with the right tools to make work easier and then shutting it all out and heading back to offices in early 2021 seems like throwing up a seizure. 2020 raised the bar for tech gadgets, providing ease of living per se, but was it? How many of you think that those endless Google Meets and Zoom calls were frying your eyeballs?
Our battle with COVID-19 seems like a never-ending ordeal. We realized that the increasing time for reviving back nullified the chances of coming out of this trauma. To alter the rhythm stealthily and head back towards equilibrium intermittently, we resumed our cognitive operations, starting with celebrating the first week of March 2021 with weekend activities, Konstant’s 18th Foundation Day and Women’s Day in a row.

A fast climb to the 4th floor took us to the cafeteria, where team members got together for a long-held celebration. Anxious attendants, some with masks, others helping out with one, got on their feet as HR’s started with the activities.
Fifteen participants parted into three teams of five members each. HR stood there with a bowl full of folded paper cards. Team members had to decide who will sketch first. One participant from each team had to step up to the podium, pick one card, review the card for no more than 5 seconds and sketch on the whiteboard after the timer started. Sketches could not include letters, symbols or letters. Their team members were required to guess until they identified the clue or until the time was up. A, B, C teams played turn-wise. The team with maximum guesses in minimal time was the winner.
Ten members parted into two teams (A and B) of five members each. A member from Team A was given a hat with a “pin” stuck over it. Four other members had to blow some balloons and throw them towards the Hat-Pin-Head member. The member with the Hat-Pin-Head was required to pop as many balloons with their pin-head. The team that pops maximum balloons the quickest was the winner. Team A cracked it at 8, followed by Team B with 9.
Only a few minutes ago, we had walked upstairs – these sixty minutes of carefree yet structured entertainment made us pull through, slice that glumness and silence in our thoughts.
