I’m the co-founder and COO of ArtistryU.com, an online platform where entrepreneurs sell products and services to customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Konstant Infosolutions?

We needed more resources to build a reliable e-commerce website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Guided by our specifications, Konstant Infosolutions built an image-heavy WordPress site with two unique user paths for buyers and sellers. The website functions as both an online marketplace and a social media platform. Features include a payment processor for secure purchasing, and a listings board for members to share their work, or favorite other members’ creations. There’s also private messaging for custom products and services.

What is the team composition?

The assigned project manager serves as the liaison between our company and their team of developers and web designers.

How did you come to work with Konstant Infosolutions?

We reached out to several web developers who specialized in e-commerce sites, and Konstant Infosolutions appeared to be the most reputable option for a partner.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $23,000 to build the website.

What is the status of this engagement?

Development began in 2017, and the official release is scheduled before the end of 2018.

Results & Feedback

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There have been a few loading and sign-in bugs since the soft launch, but overall the platform is fulfilling its purpose as a social marketplace.

How did Konstant Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

The language issues caused some issues in the beginning, but we overcame that obstacle as our relationship evolved. In contrast, their work pace has declined. The first project manager that they assigned was great at using ActiveCollab, mHelpDesk, and emails to coordinate with us, but the current project manager isn’t very responsive. Infrequent communication combined with a massive difference in time zone has prolonged the six-month project to more than a year.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is phenomenal. Knowing that we’ve never built a website before, they are honest with us about their work and flexible to our last-minute requests. When our add-ons become too expensive, they don’t hesitate to offer the features at a discounted price. Konstant Infosolutions make it clear that our needs are their top priority.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The miscommunication within their organization has negatively impacted their project management efforts. Modifying their practices to accommodate their clients’ needs would minimize delays.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clearly defined scope of work to avoid additional fees.
