Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of a consulting firm in the Caribbean. We provide business and technology open services for several island in the region. We provide application development services.

Opportunity/Challenge

What challenge were you trying to address with Konstant Infosolutions?

In this particular case, we needed to develop a mobile app for one of our clients. We usually build web applications, in this particular case, we didn’t have the manpower to build this app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They assisted with the entire engagement lifecycle. I talked to someone in pre-sales who understood the requirements and responsibilities. We started with the requirements gathering phase, where the user stories were developed. That was our responsibility, but we did that in coordination to Konstant Infosolutions. We went back several times to validate the user stories and follow up. They did a full stack development front- and backend. We wanted to use a particular technology, but based on discussion with them, we changed that as well.

What was the team composition?

Once we had that, they provided a cost estimate, which we agreed to and they assigned a project manager. He was the go-to person for the full engagement. From a service perspective, that was a good approach.

How did you come to work with Konstant Infosolutions?

We did some research online and did our due diligence. We searched for companies with headquarters in India and considered a few alternatives. We decided to proceed with Konstant Infosolutions.

How much have you invested with them?

It was between $10,000–$17,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2019 and we finalized everything in about a year. We put a few things on hold, so it took about a year to finalize everything. The app went live in July 2020.

Results & Feedback

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The client and our team are very happy with the end result. We went live this month, and the product met all expectations; we didn’t have any problems.

How did Konstant Infosolutions perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager was very proactive; they followed up in emails after each of our calls. Although we have a time difference, that wasn’t really an issue. They were always available over Skype and email. The time difference was even beneficial at times because our team could do some work during the day. To that extent, the team was very sharp.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They’re always willing to help. They will go the extra mile without looking into the nitty gritty detail. When we needed some extra work to be done, something wasn’t working, or we changed our mind, they were willing to help. Other vendors are stricter and charge the customer to make changes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could double-check the process to reassure that changes have been implemented before telling the customer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate openly and make sure your expectations are aligned. If you have a clear purpose and communicate it well, your engagement will be successful.
