Amusive Hour @ Konstant’s August Month Activities

Employees have a lot on their plate every week, which leaves them feeling stagnated after some time. We try to ease their routine a bit and get going with their weekly goals!

As the vibrant faces and cheeky smiles repleted the environment, the vivacious voices of the over-enthusiastic plush crowd decked our cafeteria.

Yay! Last weekend Konstant’s Teams had an opportunity to relax and reflect on the busy and productive work of the previous month.

We often jump onto the ‘next’ thing immediately after successfully completing the last milestone.

But by doing this we miss all the good stuff and lose sight of what we set out to achieve in the first place.

Easy Fix -> We need to take a step back, take stock, and come together to talk about it.

By doing this, you’ll get renewed focus, build stronger relationships, and power your ‘next’ actions in the process.

We are a closely knitted team of approximately 150 people, who rely on communication complexity for our day-to-day operations. Although we are expanding, we still believe that the more people we had in our network, the harder it is to communicate effectively. When groups get too big, it’s tough to keep communication flowing smoothly. Digressing from the traditional top-down structure, we’ve created networks of teams that work together autonomously with less middle management.

That way everyone can communicate and coordinate without getting bogged down. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where everyone can work together without getting overwhelmed.

We indulged in a delightful array of spirited games, painting laughter, and joy across our shared moments.

Fun Games @ Konstant

Taking note of this, we played some tricky games, that infused a lot of fun, laughter, energy, and teamwork. There were games that required steady skills and precision, and the players were able to play solo, as a race, and in teams.

Game 1: Paper Cup Tower + Platic Ball

Two players were made to face two paper cup towers respectively. A plastic ball was placed on the top. Each player had to pick the cup on which the plastic ball was placed, gently slide it on the next cup, pick that next cup, and repeat the process until the entire paper cup tower is disassembled. The player picks the last cup with the ball. They have to then place the ball into a new common cup. The player who finishes this process earlier is the winner.

Game 2: Traversing a Paper Cup Maze

This game was played individually as well as a team. First, the players were made to hop on 1 foot, making their way through the paper cup maze. The person/team which made it through without touching any paper cup won the game.

Game 3: “Yes”/”No” Jump Challenge

Teams of 5 people were made to stand on one side of the green tape. A caller announced whether it is a yes or a no, and subsequently, the players should hop on that side of the tape. The one who lost balance was out of the game, and the other players continued until one of them was left. The last person who stood the test of time was the winner.

Closing in a Tizzy

A collaborative team that works together, hopefully, performs well under pressure and is conducive to improving the client’s success rate. Everyone’s individual performance is important. For some people, pizza parties, cricket tournaments, table tennis tournaments, dressing up, cubicle decoration, and stage performance matter.

The key is allowing some flexibility, understanding the needs of employees, and trying to create an employee-centric culture that is high performing.

As an employee, you can’t expect high pay, great benefits, an awesome role, a good title, lots of flexibility, and give nothing in return. Because you know what else matters >> (Results!) And that’s what we all should be focused on.

Every team you lead, every report you write, every strategy you create, every operational efficiency you put into play is about improving performance.

What matters most to you at work?

May the tapestry of our shared endeavors weave a symphony of joy, painting each moment with hues of fulfillment and camaraderie! Take Care!
