CES, a well known international electronics and technology trade show, debuted in 1967. It’s been 49 years for the Consumer Electronic Show held in January of every year in Las Vegas in which on an average 1, 75,000 folks attend this event every year. CES served a marketplace, unveils a ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies.

This year is an incredible year for geek nerds and we want to share some of the best technologies being introduced in CES’16. Though CES is all about technology show where many kinds of electronic technology being introduced, but this year their focus is mainly on virtual reality Wearables and incredible technologies that all are taking advantages of their product by making them compatible with the Smartphones and their applications, as they know the fact that how many people are connected to their smart devices.

Parrot Disco – Ohh! This tech makes me think of Atlantic Puffin; parrot alike, color alike, structure alike. This drone is just like your pet bird when you toss your bird in the air and it will fly automatically. It has a front nose camera with Full HD 1080px, sturdy though lightweight design, flight time approx 45 minutes inducing with GPS and with assisted flying modes. You can fly it with the top speed of 50mhps at a single charge. The user can pilot the waypoints to 180 degree with the help of Flight Plan application using the implanted GPS and let the disco do all the navigation.

Oculus Rift VR – Games lovers – Yes, Yes! We know about your hunger for games. That’s the reason, Oculus Rift, heat up the Virtual Reality(VR) gaming Tech in CES’16. Oculus Rift is an exciting Wearable virtual reality gaming gadget that will go to create more madness under the hood of gamer. The Rift, a Wearable device, owned by Facebook, offers a peculiar experience that makes you feel like you’ve been deputed to another world and Oculus touch motion controllers put the crown on it.

The touch screen on the refrigerator runs on Tizen, and it runs several applications as well. LG envisions the future of rollable displays and outcome of which is, LG showed 18 inches OLED 0.18-mm thick pliable display and gunning for 40, 60 and 50 inches in a future that has HD – class resolutions. The flexibility and tenuity of the display being used in different applications such as wearable apps, automotive designs and lighting customization.

Amazon Echo – ‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’, Meet Alexa, your new tech companion. In typical tech language — ‘It’s an engaging voice for your services and devices’, just command whatever you want to know and make your other smart hardware work. In fact, you can access many of the Echo’ settings from the web as well, though you have to do the original setup of Echo on iOS App or Android App. After getting this tech in hand, the only thing a user need to do is to download the Echo App from his or her Smartphone. In fact, the third party websites and applications use the location-based services to provide information related to the destination.

Segway Robot – A collaboration with Intel and Ninebot; Segway describes it as “a Segway that sees the world and a robot that gives you a ride”. Part of Segway, work just like a Segway scooter, but with one touch it converts into a robot in which camera can track and follow, microphones can take your voice commands, record and help with hardware as well. Its arms can emerge from sides and help you in performing tasks; this device can reach the speed of 18 kmph and has a cover a trip distance of up to 30 km.
