Diwali is beautiful in Jaipur, the heart of Rajasthan, one of the colorful states in India, loaded with exquisite cuisines, diverse languages, music and dance, handicrafts, mandala, rangoli’s, camel rides, jeep safari’s and much more. All these activities are embossed even further at the time of Diwali. It is that time of the year when Lord Rama returned from Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravana, with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana. It is symbolic of the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi into the homes that are well lit with oil lamps, artistic rangoli’s, geometric mandala designs, and creative wall hangings made of Ashoka tree leaves and yellow – orange marigold flowers.
A distinctive feature of Konstant’s celebration was the commitment to a clean and green Diwali. The office refrained from fireworks. The day was filled with stylish dresses, and glittering lights, creating a lively atmosphere, traditional rituals, sweet indulgence, and the joy of donning new Diwali outfits. Every cubicle was decorated with flowers, rangoli’s, colorful paper artwork, stair railings adorned with shimmery fabric decorations. It is the time when we put a pause on all our assignments, tasks, and projects, and simply gel in our creativity and put the best foot forward. To us it is all about getting in touch with various team members, having lots of mithai, wearing a new outfit for Diwali, lighting oil lamps (Diya’s), walking the ramp, posing for pictures, and relishing the vibrant environment.
The Diwali preparation that started a week before Diwali party provided a welcome pause from work, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the festive spirit, fostering team connections and creativity.
The Diwali program kicked off with the symbolic drawing of rangoli, representing happiness and positivity. The talent hunt program added a competitive yet festive touch, featuring solo and group performances, ramp walks, and funny videos. It provided employees with a platform to showcase their talents and fostered a sense of community within the Konstant family.
We commenced the program by drawing rangoli because we believe that its purpose is beyond decoration. It represents happiness, positivity and liveliness. The program intensified further with talent hunt program including solo dance, parodies, singing, mimicry, group dance, group skit, and best selfie, ramp walk with Mr. Eve and Ms. Eve, and funny videos. The purpose was to provide a great opportunity to the employees to go beyond the norm and showcase their talent to their teammates and the management.
Konstant’s Diwali Party 2023 was a vibrant celebration that brought together the entire team in the spirit of joy and creativity. The festivities showcased the richness of Indian culture with diverse cuisines, languages, music, dance, and traditional arts.
In keeping with the true spirit of Diwali, the celebration extended beyond the office, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity, compassion, and mindful celebrations. The day also honored Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Dhanvantri, reinforcing cultural traditions and values. It was not just a celebration but a reflection of unity, talent, and a commitment to a joyous and responsible festive season.
