Inciting October First Weekend with Garbha Raas

We organized a dandiya Night on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Women and men put their best ethnic fashion foot forward while they grooved to the tunes of the dandiya beats!

Crux: It was not just about looking good, but as well to feel good, gelling up and bringing up ingenuity.

How did it go?

Two meetings that we try to execute every Monday and Friday are absolute game changers:

On Monday: Setting micro goals across teams and celebrating any larger goals we’ve accomplished.

On Friday: Celebrating the week – the goals we achieved, the goals we didn’t commit and what we could have done better. We align on the broader vision and gear up for the coming week!

Business, like all things in life, is a compound effect of small habits – setting these two meetings even if for 15-20 minutes, works most effectively to sustain motivation, learning, and growth consistently.

What are the daily challenges they face in returning to and finding work? What opportunities are available that meet their skill set? How can we support their progression and inspire them to move forward once they are at work?

Understanding the decisiveness, it was one of those, first weekend activities, where we celebrated the Hindu deity Goddess Durga, the supreme incarnation of power, and strength. We carried our own share of rituals, and traditions to worship the divine. It was the most awaited Dandiya Night demoing the glimpse of acculturation.

With the rattle of dandiyas, members from every team grooved to the tunes of the Garbha music. Garbha, a traditional dance form of Gujarat, carries grace, and beauty engulfing antics that make it amusing, for natives and non-native Gujaratis equally.

While we moved in clockwise and anti-clockwise formations, we stroked the dandiya sticks to the drum beats and the dance gained pace with the pace of the beats, making it a visual treat for the people watching it while making them recollect their memories.

A large number of team members thronged the venue, dressed in their colourful best to dance away a fun-filled evening. The dance programme started at 5:30 PM until it was 7:00 PM. While some were pros with their grooves, others imitated to keep up. We expect even huge footfall during upcoming Diwali Event At Office in the coming days.

While it was all about swirling, jumping, swaying, and turning, the dance demanded oodles of energy from the performers. But they were as well rewarded for their zest, vigour, and zeal with the two best-dressed people in male and female categories:

  1. Phoosa R.
  2. Neeti K.

Here’s a dot to reminisce – If you strategize, follow your instincts, and do the right thing,  others will follow you. Represent your department and yourself with a smile each and every day. Don’t allow the problems of the world to influence your thought process. Be that positive light to help others get through their struggles. Wish you a very happy Navratri from Konstant Infosolutions! Be blessed! Have a great weekend!
