The team worked on a solution which requires user to enter a unique code which will be common for Taskclone and Microsoft’s Evernote and OneNote. This facilitated in making the application responses valid.
Integrated the Microsoft OneNote API using OAuth 2.0 protocol to provide the access tokens that are required to interact with OneNote.
Implementation of the code which signs the end user in with Microsoft to get an access token for further communication with OneNote API.
Used Mailchimp/Mandrill API to send the email to user for each cloned task and events which were updated in Google calendar.
Manipulated the HTML supplied by Microsoft OneNote to extract the to-dos using HTML DOM (Document Object Model).
